So let’s take a look at how quickly you can find out how much Primavera P6 costs, whether it’s Primavera P6 Professional or Primavera P6 EPPM (web version).
The easiest way to do it is online by going to shop.oracle.com and then click on the Search Icon on the main screen as shown in Figure 1.

What Is Oracle Primavera P6
As shown in Figure 3, you will then get the price of both Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) for installing on premises. This is the web version of Primavera P6. You also will see the Primavera P6 cost for P6 Professional Project Management. This is the client version of P6.

What About Cloud Hosting?
We can’t look at how much Primavera P6 costs without discussing cloud options. The Cloud hosting option is becoming increasingly more popular. It does currently seem more focused on larger numbers of users rather than a small business. Also, the cloud option is web based, it really is aimed more at Primavera P6 EPPM users than Primavera P6 Professional. The cloud hosting options are currently divided into two basic options:
- Oracle Cloud – with this option offered directly by Oracle, the Primavera P6 costs are simply charged per user / per month. This is because it’s a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. You may find that Oracle won’t offer this to businesses with fewer than 25 users.One of the key advantages of Oracle Cloud is that the software is automatically updated with new releases. As a user, you don’t have the hassle of dealing with complex installations.
- Other hosting companies – These provide hosting for P6, but you have to own the Primavera licenses in order to use their services. Therefore the Primavera P6 costs are a combination of license and hosting costs. That said, there are some lesser known companies leasing Primavera P6 licenses with their hosting options.
